AuNix ADSL/ADSL2 Settings
Below are the general configuration settings used when configuring an ADSL or ADSL2 modem for an AuNix broadband account:
Username: username@aunix.com.au
Password: your password
Connection Type: PPPoA LLC or PPPoE LLC
VPI / VCI: 8 / 35
MTU: Modem Default
IP Address: Server Assigned
Primary DNS Server: 124.254.70.68
Secondary DNS Server: 124.254.70.70
NOTE: Auto Assigned DNS configuration is recommended. The DSL type/mode is G.DMT for ADSL and for ADSL2 it is ADSL2+, G.dmt.bis or G.dmt.bisplus.
To configure your modem with these settings you will either need the installation CD that came with your modem or if you are using an Ethernet modem you can generally use a web login page to modify the configuration.
